Review
From Strathbogie Ranges comes another interesting suite of wines from Municipal, one of my ‘under the radar but up in lights’ producers. So many good wines emerge from this project.
There’s a kind of honeyed, toasty glow to the wine but still with freshness in reserve. Lemon curd, green apple crunch, sweet spices, a touch of straw, peanut brittle faintly in there. Lots of flavour, bright acid profile, general energy and deliciousness. Quietly complex is the gist. Drinkability high. Go forth.
